THANK YOU!

"Thank you"... words that seem so inadequate on a day like
today...for those we have lost, and their families who had to
carry on without them.
I hope they know that no matter what they see and hear outside
our borders...or inside our borders for that matter...that there are millions
of Americans who comprehend the sacrifices they have made.
We are truly thankful, grateful and humbled by those who are willling
to do what the huge majority of us will never have to.

THANK YOU!!!

And very proud that they were not only willing to fight
for the freedom of "their fellow Americans", but also for
                                                               "their fellow man".

  1. I love your Memorial Day posts M. This one I love especially for some reason. I guess it really brings it home to me because of the unfortunate events that have been playing put in the media right now about a certain POW from Hailey (the town 28 miles from my own).
I am having a real hard time understanding why we swapped five very bad men for 1 not-so-great one. I guess I had better wait and see what all comes out after an investigation before I start ranting, but to think that some lost their lives trying to reclaim him really gets me going.
Hope all is good with you because I really have been a pretty absent from your blog and I can't tell you the last time I was on FB.
    much love...
