I Got Your Google!

such an indelicate post title, i know...but grrrrrrr!
figuring out google +...the new blogger format...being picnik-less
{i have been trying all the otherphoto editing sites and BLICK!
is there one EXACTLY like piknic? because it was just my speed! ;}
so, until i get this all under control, sort of...posts will be few...
and that odd sound you hear isjust me...sitting in the corner...
rocking back and forth...and chewing my hair!

ok, i really didn't come here to whine...but i am NOT loving this new blogger set up...
so, you know, it just seemed like as good a time as any! ;}
i actually came here to tease!
Bee finally got tired of her modern, minimalist & semi-chintzless hutch and has been
washing, painting, sprucing and arranging all week! so, i will have a lot of new chintzy
pictures very soon, well, you know..."soon" being a relative term! ;}

happy pink saturday !

{tell me i will get used to this new format and think it's peachy...in no time at all!}

{WHY IS THE ABOVE FONT SO SMALL?!! GRRRRRR!}

  1. I don't like the new set up either . If you click on the cog at top right hand side it will take you back to the old method but it also says blogger will change to the new interface sois there any point in going back . I say if it ain't broke don't mend it.

  3. I started using it as soon as it became available. I figured I should get it over with. I am an old dog, hard to teach new tricks. But I got used to it pretty quick. Everything is the same..just in different places. I won't say I like it better...but I did get used to it.

  4. HI M, I'm right there with you girl. I have spent time looking up free collage, free photo ....yadayadayada...to no avail. Why did we get rid of picnik? YOu know when blogging stuff changes we have to jump to attention and figure out what in the blogpost we are doing! So irritating. My kids are impressed with all the computer stuff I can do. I told them it is only out of irritation that I learned how to do this because blogging is always changing on us and we have to learn what we are doing or get left in the blogging dust so to speak! I feel your frustration...
    Love your post...even with your font...
    perhaps you should create OC photo editing on your site and we will all come over for cuteness...that you can explain to all of us!
    Hahaha.
    Blessings,
    Debbie

  5. OMGoodness, I feel your pain!
    Bloggers new format is not what I would call "improved".
    ( Except the preview page )
    I have been struggling with it also and sending them LOTS of feedback.
    LoVe your pretty and pink, Saturday post.
    Thank you for sharing!

  6. I've had a hard time without Picnik too and find iPiccy to be the best alternative for me. And I'm avoiding the new blogger format for as long as possible!

  7. I couldn't agree with you more about the new Blogger set up - it's awful. When I tried it I couldn't get spaces between my photos and text so I've gone back to the old interface for as long as it's there. Blogger have upset a lot of people with these changes I think.

  8. I don't like it either! I feel your pain...lol I hate having to use only google chrome to access my blog, I can no longer post at all with internet explorer...it's all just a great big pain, but I do love my blog, so I will find a way to live with it.

  12. I fiddled and fuddled with the new Google format and I went crazy trying to do my first post. I hope I get the hang of it. I hear great things about Picmonkey.

  13. I switched to the new format ages ago and although it took a week or so to get used to it I don't mind it (apart from all the regular lovely blogger glitches-like crazy spacing issues). To be honest, I don't even remember the old way of doing things. As for picnik...I think we're all struggling just a little bit. So far picmonkey is the closest thing I'v found~

  14. I know what you mean - they call the new format easy and more efficient but I definitely seem to be taking longer to do things. :) I love picmonkey for photo editing. It's a new discovery and I'm having a blast with it!

  15. I started to use Picmonkey few days ago and it works great! (for me)... It's easy as Pic Nic but with more applications.
    Have a nice day

  18. Try picmonkey.com - it is about the best alternative to picnik.

  19. I hate the new blogger format and have switched to the old one until the absolute last second. The new one makes much less sense and is weirdly bright and white. Such a stupid complaint, I know. I use pic monkey, it's okay. I love the tag to this post: why bloggers drink. Indeed.

  20. I'm sorry, but you made me laugh with your post today.
    I'm not loving all the new stuff either...especially picnik being gone.
    Just when I get used to Blogger, they change things....I wish they would just leave it alone.
    The whole "google" thing messes with my brain.
    That being said......enjoy your day.

  22. Change is not always welcome, but you'll get the hang of the new Blogger format. I switched over a couple of months ago and it's been fine. I was more concerned when my entire blog was deleted at one point! Fortunately, Blogger, at my request, put it back on after deciding a few flower and home photos didn't constitute a plot, on my part, to overtake the planet. These things happen. Your writing style is fun to read, by the way.
