all these Christmas treats were so cute and pink
and delicious i wanted to eat them up...but i just took
pictures instead...i'm sure the shop owner was pleased
with my restraint!
if i had seen a display like then when i was a kid i
would have flipped! but then we all become kids
at Christmastime, don't we?

My mother always opened the Christmas season with a box of ribbon candy from Ganong, a famous Canadian candy maker in New Brunswick. I still long for it at this time of year.
