Building An Army...

Who knows when or how it began...
My journey into grievous greedishness and selfishery!
{that whirring sound you hear is Mr. Webster spinning in his grave! ;}

I feel like despot...a tyrant...Saruman...or was it Sauron...{am I the only
one who thought that the Lord of the Rings films would have been a bit less
confusing if one of those guys had been named Biff...or Skippy even?}

But let's get back to me...

Somehow...I began recruiting, inducting...conscripting!
A little Michael's here...
A little Cost Plus there...
A dash of Marshall's, TJ Maxx & Walmart!
And now, to my shock and awe...
I have built an army of whimsical white birdies!

I know not what their function is quite yet...
but we will soldier on together, adding to our numbers as we go.

Because, seriously...WHO CAN RESIST THOSE LITTLE FACES???!!!!
{NOT ME!!!!! ;}

  1. Those are some cute birds. I have the salt and pepper shakers from Pier1. They spend a lot of time looking out of the china cabinet and once in a while gracing a tablescape.

  3. Oh, I'm with you on this one... you did the right thing by not passing up on those white birdies... after all, they might be "all out" next time you shop there! You can always do a "rent a white bird" for weddings, showers, etc.... lol Happy WHite Wednesday! :)

    I'm hosting a meme this Sunday called "Where do you keep it all? - Part 2". It would be great to have you join in the fun!
