{Tea}Cupcakes...

Now this is my idea of "cup"cakes!

Well, upon further review...they might be a tad
on the crunchy side...painful even.

No frosting either...hmmmm...
pretty as they are I don't think that makes
up for the lack of shortening & sugar whipped
into a frothily fabulous topping!

Looks like I didn't think this through properly...
I'm such a nutter! {sorry...I have been immersed
in an English mystery series all weekend and I
have decided I want a Northumberland accent!}
Anyway, I guess teacups must remain teacups...
but I could always serve them up in the cupcake
tray and present these chintzy delights as the
"tempty" treats they truly are!!!

Just in case you don't happen to own the
CHARLTON STANDARD CATALOGUE OF CHINTZ
{and come on, who doesn't! Mine's dog-eared!! Don't judge! ;}
I have listed all of their lovely little names to aid you in your
Ebay hunting! ;}

Be warned though...collecting chintz usually leads to
collecting these...but that's another story for another
day... ;}

  7. You know- I was watching a show the other night and it was about people with strange addictions..AND the one guy was eating glass---so I guess fine china would be one step up for him. You might want to take those out of the cupcake holder before he sees one and orders it up....just a thought!

    They are lovely, by the way...gorgeous!!! Hugs- Diana

  25. love your chintzware. i have quite a bit of summertime, i think it definitely leads to a lifetime of collecting 'posies'. it's a slippery slope, for sure.
