glitter and vintage novel pages {can you see the words "threat"
and "angry" up there? I think I should have chosen my page with a
tad more care...not very Valentine-y verbiage...the Jerry Springer
Valentines Show comes to mind ;}
gears...without using the clutch! A different idea popped into my brain {this
in nothing new...there are generally 10-15 ideas battling for creative
supremacy at any given time...and I just have to tell them to hold their
horses and come back later...they know where to find me...on the couch! ;}
WHITMAN'S SAMPLER", like mini-sand dollars, am I right? No? Oh,
well, I though they looked cute hanging from those little strings...but
not cute enough to distract me from a WHITMAN'S SAMPLER! ;}
Sorry, I was must have been licking chocolate off my fingers!
Valentines Tea on one of my vintage sweaters...you know, "something
old, something new"...wait...that's a whole other thing! Sheesh!

mommy and has be sleeping on it and kneading it and generally writhing
all over it since Sunday... I know...why don't I just take it away? I'm just
that weak when it comes to stripe-itty-loined felines! It's pathetic!
This is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness, that is just gorgeous! And little. I can't imagine how you did that! I am all thumbs and it would look like a 4 year old did it... SO JEALOUS:)
ReplyDeleteI know, why is it that we feel so bad taking away our items from our kitties?
ReplyDeleteVery cute sweater,kitty and project
Happy WW

Your pin is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIf you got a little time before the tea - maybe your kitty will tire of your new sweater by then.
Cat hair is a style statement.
Hugs,
Penny
I love it!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE HOW THE PROJECT WENT FROM ONE THING TO ANOTHER AND THE END RESULT IS SO PRETTY.
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable~ i love seeing crafty ideas like this!
ReplyDeleteLovely pin - isn't it fun when a project just sort of evolves and changes as you go along? :-) You never know when a new idea will pop into your head :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's what I say when cats are standing on the kitchen table or laying on the cabinets. heck, I'm weak and they're so darn sweet. cats rule.
ReplyDeleteLove the pin and sweater!
xo,
Debra
I Heartily agree. this is LOVEly.
ReplyDeleteSomeone stop me please..it is not even February yet lol

Suzann
Love it, but the kittie stole the show! Such a pretty face...and the sweater is a small sacrifice for all the lovin' going on. HWW
ReplyDeleteThats so pretty and i have to say i love you cardigan you have to claim it back ;-)) Tell kitty to find another one ;-)) Dee x
ReplyDeleteThe pin you made is lovely and so is the sweater...plenty of bling!! Your kitty is so sweet. We just had to put our 17 yr old cat to sleep & I just suddenly missed her...
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Cindy

Very Sweet, and a good chuckle too!!
ReplyDeleteOh- I am so going to copy this idea...yes..yes..I am an idea thief...but I will let you keep your sweater;>) LOVE this project~ Hugs-Diana
ReplyDeleteI love your pretty heart and I love your sense of humor. You have me laughing already this morning!
ReplyDeleteKitty is just trying to protect your lovely sweater and of course, it's super comfy. I never make my bed because my kitties are always snug and comfy on it! LOL! What an excuse!

Sissie
Your pin is so cute, thanks for the great idea. I'm hosting a party for Valentine's Day for my family and these would be cute for each of the ladies attending. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteReally sweet, love the sweater too.
ReplyDeleteThis is delightful. Do you have a secret for all those perfect pleats?
ReplyDeleteLinda @ A Toile Tale
simply lovely...just lovely even with those not-so-romantic words that snuck in. who's noticing what with all that glitter and beauty?
ReplyDeleteYou are one busy gal...this is lovely! I want a day to be creative! Hugs. xoxo
ReplyDeleteYeah, might want to choose a different sweater although that one goes so well with your pretty pin! Your "M' is perfect! I want to make a beachy wreath and hang mini sand dollars from it. I'm wondering if there's a way to make them stronger though- less breakable? Do you know of a way?
ReplyDeleteI give my robe to my kitty every day. She even nuzzles/pretends to nurse on it! If it's a sick day and I wear my robe too long, she'll hop on on me and try to nuzzle it- nope, that's where I draw the line! :)
ya done good girl! so lovely!!
ReplyDeleteKristtie
Very pretty; it goes great against that sweater, too! I think the words "angry" and "threat" work for Valentine's Day; if I don't angrily threaten my hubby, how would he know that I really love him? ; )
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that it is a pin now. I can totally relate to kitty. We will put ourselves out before moving the baby from our favorite spot on the couch, bed, chairs, etc. LOL It's a kitty illness.
ReplyDeleteBTW thank YOU SO MUCH for the tutorial (and pics) on those gorgeous crepe paper thing a mabobs. LOL When I make one, I'll email you a pic!
Happy WW
Roselle
That is super cute. Nice way to recycle and looks good too.
ReplyDeleteSherry
Well it's all pretty kitty cute! Thanks for coming by and leaving a sweet comment!
ReplyDeleteSo, so cute...M. The little sand dollars are so darling. I've never seen those before.
ReplyDeleteKitty has good taste! I'd have to fight him for it.
hugs to you..
I'm off to buy a teeny box of chocolates.
love your pin - it looks adorable on the sweater!
ReplyDeletethanks for stopping by and leaving your sweet comment on my kitchen makeover! yup, it was the sink that I insisted on and I would have settled for cardboard boxes for cabinets as long as I could have the sink! :)
That is way too funny. Everytime I looked at it I saw the word "angry". Sometimes you don't even notice those things! It turned out gorgeously though.
ReplyDeleteI have battling ideas sometimes as well but it looks like the "right" idea won out here. I love your heart!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and so original!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I had to laugh at your comment about taking things away from the felines! I am just as bad!
ReplyDelete~ Tracy
I love it I love it!
ReplyDeleteI also love the Valentine's Tea idea.
Wonderful sparkly Valentines! I scrolled through all the comments and nobody asked, who is the little fuzzy face *under* the kitty? I think he has an accomplice :D
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!! Valentiney verbiage!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this AND your feline!!
Lou Cinda
