So I Got This Idea...

...to cover a heart shaped box with sheet music and crepe paper and
glitter and vintage novel pages {can you see the words "threat"
and "angry" up there? I think I should have chosen my page with a
tad more care...not very Valentine-y verbiage...the Jerry Springer
Valentines Show comes to mind ;}




But as soon as I cut out that first heart...way too small...I completely changed
gears...without using the clutch! A different idea popped into my brain {this
in nothing new...there are generally 10-15 ideas battling for creative
supremacy at any given time...and I just have to tell them to hold their
horses and come back later...they know where to find me...on the couch! ;}




Nothing says "SAINT VALENTINE, CUPID & A HALF-EATEN
WHITMAN'S SAMPLER", like mini-sand dollars, am I right? No? Oh,
well, I though they looked cute hanging from those little strings...but
not cute enough to distract me from a WHITMAN'S SAMPLER! ;}




Oh, did I forget to mention that the box turned into a pin? Oops.
Sorry, I was must have been licking chocolate off my fingers!





I thought it might be a little bit of fun to wear to my sister's annual
Valentines Tea on one of my vintage sweaters...you know, "something
old, something new"...wait...that's a whole other thing! Sheesh!

I might not where this particular sweater though...he thinks it's his new
mommy and has be sleeping on it and kneading it and generally writhing
all over it since Sunday... I know...why don't I just take it away? I'm just
