"Hey, Cupcake!" Valentine-y Wreath

Do you have any of these lying around? Well, the aren't just for cupcakes anymore!

Scrunch them up, like so...

now take a wreath form (any kind will do...even one cut from cardboard)
wrap it up in ribbon if you have enough...I didn't so, I used crepe paper...

start hot gluing those those little cupcake paper "foofs" onto the wreath...I did them 2 across, but you can make your arrangement more dense if you'd like...

keep gluing...you're almost done!!!

Then add a jaunty ribbon for hanging...

embellish as desired...

and VOILA! A Valentine-y wreath to make your little heart go pitter-pat!

Look! It's pocket-sized to keep handy for those unexpected glitter emergencies! ;}

I will add a shimmery layer of glitter to just about anything...

but trinkets from the sea are my favorite subject!

Pretty as they already are...with just a smidge of the magic glass they are transformed into wondrous jewels!

I'll take care of her mom!
(and that concludes today's spellbinding episode of "Kitty Theatre"!)

OK...where were we...ah, yes...my "Heart of Hearts" pin that I created from pickled brass charms.

And lastly, these darling metal ornaments that can be hung just about anywhere...door handle... dresser knob...and the buttons are magnets so you can add your own keepsakes to them as well.

OK! I am stopping now! I could have added 30 more things, but then I just decided it would be better to have more give aways instead!! And a plan formulated and is now in the works, so stay tuned for more details!!

Something That Is One Thing, But Should Have Been Another Thing!

I have rarely met a birdie that I could resist!

Especially when he comes with his own nest!

Isn't he adorable!
But I knew, just as soon as our gazes met, that he would never be used for his "intended purpose"!

I don't really like to have the paper towels on "display"...no matter how cute the holder is! They need to be out of sight until the nest time the cats decide to show me what they just ate! Ewww!

This is what I had planned for my fine feathered friend as soon as I saw him!

A glorified ribbon holder/catch all!

Poor guy! His little neck is really getting a workout!!!

A little of this....

a little of that...

and more besides! He's fun & functional and he was $3.95...Cheep! Cheep!
