Well, we were going to call it "Boobalicious" October...But we thought "Don't Be A Boob" was just a tad more dignified {?}
So, in honor of Bee's Birthday Month {and it does last all month!} AND
Breast Cancer Awareness Month we will be having a PINK Give Away
each and every Saturday in October.
Now we have been hearing so much lately about just how many people
are stretched so thin these days, if not actually jobless. So, we thought
that instead of the foo-foo glittery falderal we usually give away...
fun as it is...we will be giving away practical, yet still PINK, treats.
Don't let that "practical" word throw you off...we are still us, and
practical is in the eye of the giver...so, for week # 1 we present...
The Cuisinart Mini Prep Plus.
AND cute gadget and would be a fun addition to any aspiring
"Martha's" kitchen!
{and for those of you who aren't really into PINK*shock**gasp**
sputter**silent prayer for your souls** you really can keep it
in the cupboard until you need it...as sad as that would be! ;}
Here are the details...
- 250-watt food processor with 3-cup plastic work bowl
- Chops and grinds with patented reversible blade
- 2 receptacles in lid for adding oil during blending
- Recipes and a spatula included; dishwasher-safe parts
- Measures approximately 5 by 8 by 9 inches
And here are the rest of the details...
For a chance to win:
*Leave a comment on this post until midnight Friday the 8th
{winner announced on the following Saturday's give away post}
*I will say "anyone, anywhere" if you international girls want to
give it a go...but I have to admit it just hasn't happened yet...we
Americans are like ants...so darn many of us!
*If you don't have a blog, please leave your email address
For extra chances...
*Post about our give away
*Follow
*Grab the little button down there
{and remember to come back and tell us that you have}
If by chance, you have some to spare...please DONATE to theSusan G. Komen foundation {or the one of your choosing}.
And if you, your BFF, your sister, mom or someone you know are a survivor,
currently battling or have lost their life to breast cancer, please leave there name
and it will be added to our sidebar for prayers, good thoughts and also a stark
reminder of just how many have been touched by this disease.
Too practical??? You all still on board with us? We hope so!!!
Thankx for joining in & GOOD LUCK!!!!

ReplyDeleteWe recently walked in the Race for the Cure and it was one of the most moving experiences of my life. In the sea of pink shirts, hats, banners..etc....were some of the bravest women I have ever had the pleasure of standing next to. I couldn't hold back the tears...reading their messages of hope mixed in with memoriams of women who couldn't wait any longer. We are all in this together..united as women. Someday there will be a cure...and what an amazing day that will be.
ReplyDeleteHugs ~ Angie
