Positively "Ashwellian"!

When I saw this cup in Ebay, it was so "Ashwellian"...I just had to have it!
Luckily, Rachel did not see it herself and try to snipe me! ;}
{she needs another teacup like she needs three eyes...come to think of it,
I don't need another teacup either but...ick! That was so ugly I can't
believe I said it!}

The day was a tad drear, so my light did not capture its true color...
bubblegumalicious pink!

Oh, how I wish it had a matching saucer, but no luck! {no marking whatsoever
on the bottom so no way to try and find a mate} So, I paired it up with a pretty
saucer I just happened to have and they are very happy together!!

Be sure to pop on over to MARTHA'S & TERRI'S for more Teacup Tuesday!

  1. What a great find! The little saucer you married it to is perfect. I love doing that. And I love the new word I learned from you today: bubblegumalicious. I'm sure it will fit into my vocabulary quite nicely.
    Patricia :o)

  2. That is a gorgeous cup! I have never seen one quite like it...lucky girl...poor Rachel;>)

    I love your header with the pink sand and shells-beauteous! Diana

  3. What an incredibly elegant tea cup and saucer!! Just gorgeous!!

  4. What a unique and beautiful cup! I love the detail on it as well as the colors. And I always love gold trim!
    I think the cup looks fab on the saucer you paired it with. Very nice.
    Thank you so much for sharing with us today.

  5. So sweet! It doesn't matter if it has no saucer of its own.

  6. What a shame it didn't have its' mate. It is very pretty indeed!

  7. Love it! I have one that has the "Remember Me" in gold on it that was my great-grandmothers. I didn't know it was Ashwellian... now I have something to look up.

    Have a great one - thanks for sharing! Hugs, SHerry

  8. Of course you needed another teacup. Everyone needs another tea cup!! You could not pass that one by.

  9. Hello :) Such a lovely and elegant teacup; you've paired it quite nicely with the pretty dainty rose saucer....perhaps one day when you least expect it you may come across it's matching saucer!

    Wishing you a lovely Tea Tuesday!!

    Warmest hugs, Brenda

    This teacup is exquisite! How elegant that it has such a wide band of gold inside too.
    It goes really nicely with your saucer choice to!
    Thank you for the smiles today!!!

  14. I hope this is not a double comment, I just love that cup. It is beautiful. Just beautiful! The needle work is also beautiful and I would like to be adding to your give away. Rock of Ages is one of my favorites songs. Blessings, Martha

  15. That is one gorgeous teacup! LOVE the colour; dreamy! Love how it goes with your little saucer too. And the pink sugar makes it all the more pinkalicious! I am so glad you were able to snatch it up before Rachel!

  16. Ashwellian - I like that! Very clever and you are so right! The perfect little tea cup!

  17. I think that is the prettiest pink cup I have ever seen! And I love that the saucer goes with it without being matchy-matchy. Lovely!
