Vanity Thy Name Is...

This is how I get "all dolled up" each morning...
ok, I don't wear a garter...but I sit on the bathroom counter...
feet propped on a plastic box...squinting into the medicine
cabinet mirror in search of any wild eyebrows!
What a picture, eh? {Don't be jealous! ;}

What I long for is a vanity! Check this one out! Nice idea, but my cats
would make short work of all that fringe...AND those feathers!

But one like this would do quite nicely! I'm certain that mirror
has wrinkle eliminating powers!

Even if you weren't prettier...you'd surely feel prettier perched before
any of these vanities!

And this is "plucking" light!!! {that doesn't really sound right,
does it? :0 }

I'm not sure I'd be able to take care of the necessary "maintenance"
at this vanity...I'd be much to busy admiring it!

And I cannot lie, this would soon be covered with brushes, q-tips and a fine
haze of powder & eyeshadow...but I love the idea of it!

Ah, well, I suppose I should lose some weight, dye the roots & remember to
use the eye cream at night before I am worthy or in true need of a vanity! ;}

  5. I love vanities, I can remember as a little girl when I would stay over at my Grans and I would sit at her vanity and pretend I was a beautiful princess whilst I brushed my hair...isn't it nice to dream :)

  6. Oh gosh, I might even spend some time on make up if I had any one of those! I don't usually wear a lot, but one of those could be rather inspiring.

  7. Oh, M! That third one is my fav but of course the decor reflectied in the mirror adds to the charm! I've always just stood while playing with make up. I wouldn't know how to act sitting down! ♥

  8. Ah but it is fun to dream. I think the third one is my favorite, not for the wrinkle eraser but the style.

  11. "plucking light"

    how I wish I had thought of that first LOL love it

    vanity is okay - why is it that in grade school we call it "self respect and self-esteem" - and then as adults we call it "vanity?"
