Dusting Detour!

I started to do a bit of dusting to day...then the sun popped out for
a few minutes and I found myself unexpectedly "detoured" and I
just had to take some shots!

And for Teacup Tuesday ...a little more detail

This little beauty is "Marion"

Even if didn't say "1951" on the bottom...the font of the back stamp
would give it's age away.

No matter how fabulous a camera you have...chintz still must
be seen up close & personal to really appreciate the colors!

This is such a sunny, happy pattern!

It's called "Cheadle" and even though it has the post WWII blue,
it's still so pretty!

And I always look for the "ring handled" teacups, they are just adorable!

  2. I'm so glad that I'm not the only person distracted! I had a list of "to-dos" for today and after pulling weeds for an hour, I abandoned the task, made a picnic lunch and sat outside just enjoying the day. Now I feel guilty about not getting a few more things done before the work week begins. Says Scarlett, "I'll think about that tomorrow."

  27. Pretty!
Dusting usually turns in to tweaking for me, and then to photographing....
I guess it makes dusting fun!

  30. Funny , i usually get detoured every time I start to dust...or clean. I could kiss the person who invented those Swifter products. i own so many of them that I surely must have stock in the company.
