100 % Fluff...Have A Bite!

Who is "Anonymous"? He/she/it too cool to even have a last name? Like Cher?
Well, upon my diligent seconds of research I found that "anonymous" means "big fat chicken" in Esperanto (ok, not really...I did study Esperanto for several months...apparently I didn't retain a single word!;)

As I type, I am kicking myself for even giving said dweeb the time of day...and that is not my intent. I just thought I'd take a moment to clarify...

Yes, this blog is 100% fluff (I think I'll have that trademarked)...I love fluff, especially the marshmallow kind as pictured above, I love great heaping spoonfuls!
But the sweater fluff that gets stuck in your eyelashes...not so much!

And I do know that "glitterrific" & "sparklicious" are not real words...I love words, there aren't enough words in existence, so I am forced to push the limited boundaries of the English language and be wordilicious!...And I have a thing for Noah Webster!

There was more but, you get the idea...this blog was only ever intended to be "no substance, none of the time" and if some find that irksome...well, thaaaaaaaat's just a big fat bummer for them.

I didn't sign on to be Angelina Jolie or Mother Teresa...
more like Erma Bombeck! Not trying to save the world here...glitter does have it's limitations!
I work, I vote, pay my taxes (way too much!)and to sort out my brain, I pour glitter all over things and make them pretty...It'd be better if I started fires or slashed tires or put an incendiary device in my undies, I suppose?

I never promised you a rose garden, "Anon" and the cool thing is, this is a free country...so I am free to be vapid and vacuous and you are free to, um...let's see...wow, I guess, just be you...and if "being you" means "you being" far away from this blog...aaaaaah, now that would make the world such a fluffy glittery zippadeelicious place!

m ^..^ (and I like my infantile cat face too! ;)

  4. Hello
Thank you for popping by and leaving a lovely comment on my blog. So glad that you have as it has enabled me to discover your lovely blog.

How funny that you should feature Fluff on your post as I read about recently and am about to order some online from a special shop that sells US products. It looks sooo delicious! Can't wait to try it.

    Warm wishes

  7. ?
I feel like I missed something.
Anyway, I love your blog - as you know.
And I love marshmallow fluff - though I am sad to admit that I haven't had any for years. (Note to self: buy marshmallow fluff!)
And if somebody said something unkind to you - take pride that you have better things to do with your life than writing poison pen letters.
    And, enjoy the day!

  8. Seriously. There are a zillion blogs out there. If you don't like something, change the channel.

  9. Hooray for you! I hope ANON stuck around long enough to read your response. I wouldn't be a follower if I didn't love your blog/style. Blogging and the reading of others is my "down time", I only follow those are bring me pleasure. That old adage "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." is a good one to follow.
I hope you have a fabulous day and I look forward to visiting again soon.

  10. Oooh, I LOVE your blog and all of your wonderful posts! Please do not give anonymous a second thought! My blog is downright silly most days, as am I, too many sad and depressing things in the world, I want people to have a little enchanted place to escape, that is why I love coming to visit you as well... I get sooo many comments, even ones who leave their names, criticizing me, my blog, my life, my photos... well, I have left them an open "un~invitation" to never return! I love that YOU are YOU! OK, I am doing a little hocus~pocus thing for you... poof! I don't think anonymous will be back to visit you! xoxo Julie Marie

  12. I am with you also.....I love your fun words and I sometimes wish I had come with them.

It is your blog.....to do with, write and say what you please and they can just go elsewhere.

So have the same message for them, take your comments rude or otherwise and move on.

  13. oh boy that was funny...
ya know...your blog is filled with beautiful pictures and sweet words and if someone finds that upsetting then i say that they can just move on to a less offensive place :)

    have a lovely day.

ps now i need to go check my pantry to see if there is any fluff in there. yummmilicious.

  14. Wow! What a great in-your-face tell off! It was not rude or screamed with a red face. It was a confident "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" kind of tone. I liked it!

    Good for you!

PS - I like your blog!

  15. My vote is with you, Most Sparkly One! Our blogs are for us to be and say what we wish. You're so right, those anon ones are chicken. You can have a google account without having a blog and I get some comments from some of these dear ones - they have a name and lots of them have a face.
You keep on being you and making pretty things and being sparkly! Sparkly gets me all the time.
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  16. Don't let these snarky commenters get you down. I don't understand why people feel the need to criticize others. If you don't like the blog, do not visit!

I love your fluffy, glitterific style. Keep on being you! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  17. Do you REALLY mean it that glitter CAN NOT save the word?????????? Oh no...I'm depressed! ....going back o bed now....

  18. AGGGHHH!!! I am so SICK of these anonymous commenters that are so ignorant!!!!!!!!! WHY do they visit and comment on our blogs if they dont like them?? My blog is all fluff too and that is the way I like it! I love your blog and I THANK YOU for bringing laughs and pretties to my day!! No one knows what we go through or deal with and they dont need to!! We all need smiles in out lives and THAT is why I read blogs!! Not to hear about everyone's problems! Anonymous, you need to just stay away!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. we ALL need "fluff" in our lives! For me, it's part of balancing a depressing full time job, creating a little lightness. Thank you so much for providing 100% fluff, all the time! (and anon? Lighten up a little!)

    ReplyDelete
  20. You go girl!!! Why do some people have to be that way? If you don't like what we do, go away, is what I say.

As for me, keep up the good work. I love everything about your blog and what you do.

  22. You go girl! Speak your mind! This is your space, your blog - being you is what it's all about!

  23. Is it me? or did someone irritate you?
Being English I am a bit slow on the uptake and I find irony very taxing indeed..... tee hee!

On a much heavier and more serious note - I am so glad you like my pink scales. Over here in Blighty the talk is all of marmalade and pink scales and none of the political fluff is making the headlines at all!I am so glad as it is terribly tedious having to critique the Priminister's tie over supper,

I'm off to clean some of the fairy dust off my work surfaces before the fluff police arrest me,

  24. Well I guess you told him (or her) off and I am so with you. I too choose what I blog about. Not the daily grind, the why mes and the why not mes. I choose to blog about the fluffy, pretty things in life too and why not for heaven sakes.
    You go girl.
    hugs

  25. Yes, Anonymous should just go get a life - elsewhere. How rude and uncalled for. In my book, if you don't like a blog, you move on. Goodness knows there are plenty of them out there. Go find another that is more suited to you.

Love your blog - that's why I keep coming, and will keep on coming.

  26. I think of your blog as a sweet little respite to visit for a minute or two in my hectic schedule. I can't take any more of sad faces in Haiti, I can't think about the failing economy, enough already with terrorists. I welcome a moment of fluff. You are doing me and many others a great favor with your sweet posts.

  27. I'm with ya too, "M" with the cute little cat face behind your letter (name)! I love seeing fluff too, (hek, I sell fluff) and I love the fact that you make up new words to describe your pretties. You are very creative and inspiring....I think your blog is beautiful, and I soooo look forward to catching up with you each time I visit...you go girl!! You and your blog have always been precious to me. By the way thanks for coming by my blog this week, I'm so glad you enjoyed taking the trail with us...it was a pleasure taking you along. I'll be back to my regular fluffy posts and stuff on my blog next week. Don't you worry for a second, about anything anyone says about your fluff or blog...okay? I think if people would just follow one simple rule "Being Kind", in life, and then world would be a much sweeter place to be....Hope you have a wonderful day, leaving you with a

  28. If you got a mean comment, that means you've made it big time! :)

Did you know that crafting relieves stress? And it's much better than the usual go-to stress relievers, like shopping. You spent less money and you have something to show for your work.

So, it would make sense that crafty people would have less stress and therefore, be happier than non-crafters.

Which means... Anon, go get a hobby.

  29. I absolutely LOVE your blog! I love it when people come up with new words ans share fun things that are creative and bring joy to others. That's what you blog does:). Even though I am new to visiting your blog I have enjoyed every visit! Good for you for speaking your mind!

    Blessings,

  30. Personally, I have an intellectual brain too, but I like to give my creative brain a regular run too. I love your blog and have serious glitter envy. I also sew, knit, crochet, embroider. I raise three great children that are honor students, but also spend a great deal of time painting, drawing, reading, sewing and being creative thanks to life sans television. Art, needlearts and arts and crafts (there was an era devoted to that) are important to a culture and historically countries where art has been banned were ruled by communists. Now, I'm not calling anyone a communist, but just reveling in that this is a free country and no one is holding a gun to anyone's head and forcing them to "eat" art. Thank God we have the freedom to create at will without oppression and thank God for all the young crafty ladies in the blog world who are crafting instead of bar hopping.

And by the way, sewing and knitting and quite a few crafts take a lot of Algebra and geometry so there may be more behind the fluff than one realizes. So there! (: - I mean these remarks to go out in the nicest way. (:

  31. I couldn't have said it better myself. I got an anonymous comment about a tag that I made for a swap. The funny thing was: I forgot to put my name on the tags, so it didn't even have my blog on it. I know that it was from a "friend" that I chose to cut ties with. I just don't get it.....anons need to get a life, and leave us glitter lovers alone.

  34. I love your gorgeous blog. Good for you standing up for yourself. No one needs to come and visit and if fluff is not for them then they can move on. I personally love all the fluff and glitter you share. It inspires me to add some fluff and fun to my home, too.

  35. This nasty comment was soo uncalled for. If they don't like your blog why read it? Just wondering. I on the other hand love your blog. This other person just isn't creative and sensitive so don't worry about people like that. (creative and sensitive lol) I am going to go glitter something and eat some homemade bread! And thank you for the time you invest telling us about your world.

  36. I am new to your blog and have not been able to contain myself and have had to nearly demand that my daughter read it as well. I love what you do and how you do it. Chin up darlin, your charming.
Some people have such a sour spirit they can't stand it when someone else is happy, and seek to bring them down.
    Keep up the good work!!

  37. I read EVERY single post that you write!! I'm glued!! I think you're a talented writer - incredibly entertaining and humorous, and I love your crafts!! There are few blogs that I have to catch up on once I'm behind (on reading the posts), and you are one of them!! Other bloggers have encountered these bullies as well. I guess they don't have a life!
