So, I Lied...Sue Me ;}

Just as soon as I promised not to make
anything else out of sheet music ...I spied
a heart shaped box I've had for-ev-ver,
and I remember that I wanted to copy this
cute ornie!

Now, this is the shiftiest of makeshift
make-do's! I just used what I had...the
top of the heart shaped box (much smaller
than the original), vintage sheet music,
feathers (from the back of an old pen that
are not so very fluffy due to the fact that
my cat, Sammy, "groomed" them to a fare-thee-well!),
and silver chenille stems instead of tinsel...

...other than that, it's completely identical! ;}

It's obviously no threat to the original,
so the makers probably won't come after
me! But it's kinda cute and I think I'll
use the bottom of the box to try it out
in pink!

been making...

  13. adorable!

    I hope someday I get it together to make ornaments for the tree. I collect glass ornaments (and have CRATES of them), so I've never really felt like adding to the mix with my own stuff. But posts like yours give me the inspiration!
