I'm Dreaming...

Even tho' I have lived my entire life in
Cali...this is still my ideal vision of
Christmas!
A WHITE CHRISTMAS!!!

Snowball fights...followed by hot
cocoa by the fire...

Snow angels...

All is calm, all is bright...

Mittens, mufflers, earflaps!

Dashing through the snow!

And this is as close as I have ever gotten...
so far...but hope springs eternal...and there
is a 99.9999% chance...
and you know...

Magical things happen at Christmas...
in the snow!

  1. Here in Nova Scotia, Christmas is that and so much more. For instance, today the more includes -17 deg Cel temperatures -- and down filled, knee length coats, hats, scarves over mouths, and woolen mittens. I can't wait to get home to my hot chocolate and warm slippers!

  5. Aren't your photos a true representation of what a real Christmas should be. Right down to the horses! I loved that one!

  6. I'm from Canada (Ontario) as well and we definitely will have a white Christmas. Wouldn't it be nice to switch?? I spent Christmas in Florida last year and we thorougly enjoyed the warm temps, although I must admit it didn't totally feel like Christmas amongst the palm trees and standing in shorts! However I hope to do it again next Christmas!

  13. I know I take it for granted too much, but this is what I'm used to and it really is magic! The dashing through the snow reminded me of the team horses we used to have 'Snip and Brownie'. Boy do I miss them!
