Limoges-alicious!

{I am slowly but surely adding "-alicious"
to every word in the English language...
my little contribution to mankind! No
thanks necessary! ;}

Pretty, huh?
And it's been stuffed away in one form
or another, ever since I received it as
a birthday present, about 15 years ago.
It's a long story...

But I decided to give this poor innocent
Limoge a second chance, hey, it's not
the porcelain's fault, right? And look at
those "scrollies"! Do I love scrollies!

And those roses! Gorgeous! The pink is perfection,
but the blue is truly awesome...baby aqua blue (if
that's a color?)

It's actually a set, with a lidded jar
and a "hair receiver"...I know they
were useful way back when, but the
idea of keeping your hair seems like
something Howard Hughes would
have done! Blick!

But again, I will not hold that against the
porcelain! Especially since the inside of
each jar has a lustre finish!!!

So, I won't be using it on my vanity...
since I don't have a vanity this would
seem rather logical!

I'll keep it out in the open where it can be
seen and enjoyed!
