Under Cover...

Pardon the pictures...nasty late afternoon
light was less than obliging!

Miss Marty @ A STROLL THRU LIFE
is hosting a cloche party today! And since I think
they are so intriguing, I thought I'd
join in!

I am actually a little "cloche impaired"...I
don't really have any true and proper cloches...
so, I make due! To keep my teeny tiny tea room
relatively dust free, I use a wine glass as a
cloche...the tea room is only 2 X 2 and the
wine glass fit the bill!

The big 'un! It is actually a hurricane...as are
all my "cloches". Who says you can't turn
a hurricane upside down? Not me!

Since it's so big, it can cover almost anything...

which it why it always ends up playing host
to a multitude of things that really have no
rhyme or reason...

a mish mash of things that I'm usually trying
to keep the cats away from!

Cloches are not just pretty...they are functional! ;)

I am lately in love with birdcages...

I know I just said I was in love with
Martha Stewart's glitter, but what can
I say, I'm fickle!

Can't get enough....but that little pink cage
it pretty perfectly bit-sized

so, it had to be "cloche-ified" for it's own
safety!

But sometimes, you can create a whole
world within a cloche...

...and this is a world I just might like
to visit....

I can almost hear Ariel singing as she combs
her hair with a fork!

Thx Marty! This was a great idea for a party!!!

  15. That is sweet! I LOVE cloches. I have ever since I was a little girl. It seems like whatever is under a cloche is mysteriously transformed into something magical and much more beautiful somehow, LOL! Maybe it's the fact that the cloche makes it more "untouchable" somehow so it seems more attractive, LOL!
