Confessions Of A Jealous Sister...

Maybe "jealous" isn't the right word, maybe
"snotty" is a better fit. Let me explain...

Bee bought these really cool "spheres"!
Look how pink & shiny they are!
And how neat they look in her apothecary
jar!

I think they are supposed to look
capiz-like, but are really just foil paper
that has been highly lacquered.

I know she didn't pay a fortune for
them, but they weren't free either.

So, when I saw these...which were free,
well, free-esque, I thought snottily, "Hee,
hee, I can get the same look for 4$!!!!" (yep,
I bought them at the 99 cent store ;)

One little hitch though...

2 of them were too big to fit in the jar!

So, with only 2 in the jar, the look just
isn't quite the same!

See, that's what I get for being a brat, huh??!

For more heartwarming tales of sisterly
love... ;)
be sure to visit our hostess, Beverly,
and have a very PS !!

  1. Cute post. Now I don't think you were a brat, you just admired her new treasure. lol Well, you can either cut them in half, get a bigger jar or put them all in a pretty bowl for the same effect. Have a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY. Hugs, Marty

  11. Such a l♥vely post for Pink Saturday. This is the one day of the week when I get to visit some of the best blogs in cyberspace and indulge my passion for pink.

Happy Mother's Day. I wish you all the peace and joy that a day in celebration of motherhood can bring. You don't have to grow a baby in your womb to be a mother...all you have to do is to l♥ve a human being with compassion and tenderness.

We've all gotta be a little bratty every now and then to remind us that it's kinda fun ☺

  15. I am the bratty little sister in our family, always wanting what my sister has. Just kidding.

Nice pink post. Love the apothecary jars no matter what they're filled with.

  16. Fun post! I love your sister's spheres, and yours too, but I get the fit thing. I tried that once with Xmas balls in a vase, had the same problem, they didn't lay right. Oh well. Lovely thought. Happy pink Saturday! ;)
