Just Call Me Vanna!

For some strange reason (I, myself, could
very well be that "strange" reason!) I
love to buy letters make them into words
(otherwise known as spelling)!

That evil Jo-Ann's always seems to have a
really cute selection... and they are always
strategically placed so that you have no
choice but to admire them as you wait in line!

This box of letters has been quite a
source of fun for me!!

I don't really know what is is about letters,
but I am hooked!

Be sure to stop over at HOOKED ON HOUSES
to see what everyone else is hooked on this
week!!!

And on a parting note, for those of you
experiencing unseasonably cold weather
while we are at the tail end of a heatwave...
we have just had two fair sized earthquakes
since 5 this afternoon. So, while you may
imagine that the grass is always greener
on the other side of the fault line...I'd think
twice before trading in my long johns for a
bikini! Now, I am off to try and coax the cats
from under my bed!)

  5. I love letters too!! There's just something about them that appeals to me.... maybe it's the creative ways you can put them together to make fun and interesting words for all sorts of occasions.

I painted a letter mural in my home office. It was a lot of work, but totally worth it -- I love being surrounded by big letters on the walls :-)

    Happy Spelling!! :-)

  7. I so know what you mean about the evil JoAnn's! It is way to close to my home and I go at least weekly! And then the coupons! Who cannot use coupons! Your letters sre so cute. (no pun intended!) Oh I thought of you yesterday, in the May 2009 issue of Romantic Homes there are some shells with bling on page 37! They just so reminded me of you! Take a look if you get the chance!

  9. LOVELY letters! I love those pink glittery chipboard letters. I don't know if you scrapbook, but I have a hard time using any of my chipboard letters! lol

I'm from Cali too, and I'm with you on the heat wave!! It's cooled off today, thankfully. It's unseasonably warm. But I'm not near earthquake-ville, so I'm happy for that!

Stopping over from Julia's. Happy Friday!

  10. You always have such cool stuff of this pretty blog! We have earthquakes here in the Heart of Dixie too -- a 3.2 a couple of days ago. I never noticed, just heard it on the news.

  11. Hi M :)

I'm hooked on letters too! LOVE them :)

I'm worried about the earthquakes. Were they bad? I have family out there you know and I keep telling them to get out and live here. It's cheaper and no earthquakes, just a tornado once in a blue moon ;)

I heard about the heat wave... 95 in SF?? YIKES!
