Show & Tell Friday...Valentine's Day

I saw a wreath made of "vintage" Valentines the
other day...I thought it was at Pottery Barn on-line,
but now that I am searching for it so I could
include the link...it refuses to be found!
Anyway, it was just a simple wreath made up
of Valentines...simple, straightforward...and
$39! NOT!

It took me about 3 minutes to make this
one for FREE! And we all know that "free"
adds a certain je ne sais quoi to almost
anything! :)

  11. Very cute! I'm wanting to make one similar. Did you glue the cards onto something or just glue them together? What did you use for a hanger?

  14. This is absolutely fabulous! I adore it! My grandmother use to take old left over valentines and make fans out of them and then when she was experiencing a "heated" moment... ;) She'd use it. She used a very wide looking flat stick., and then put cards on each side in a varied cut out pattern like you did and glued them together. The wreath is a great idea to use old V.Day cards that only lay in a drawer...this way we could enjoy it all holiday! Love it M! ~CC Catherine
