Cielo's World of Treasures Party!!

Cielo from
THE HOUSE IN THE ROSES

is our hostess today for her
WORLD OF TREASURES PARTY!

Some of my treasures are my Christmas
pins and since it IS that time of the year,
I thought I'd share them.

It started with my grandmother's pins...
she had such a collection and we always
loved them when we were kids!

I did branch out from there though...

I love snowflakes, so I am always on the
lookout for shiny new pins!

Every year I give my sisters a new
Christmas tree pin, to keep the our
grandma's Christmas spirit alive.

Hope your day is a treasure!!!
Thx Cielo!!

  1. I'm new to your blog......

Your Christmas pins are so beautiful! I just saw some snowflake ones like yours in an antique store and now I'm kicking myself for not picking them up. :)

    Beautiful.

  6. What a lovely pins! I have my Grandmama's pin. It is a Dutch Silver Knob pin, called a Zeeuwse Knop.
Zeeuws is a part of the Netherlands, and KNOP is knob. It is made of all little silver pearls together with a bigger one on top. I love it, and try to wear it sometimes. But I am afraid I will loose it, so don;t wear it too often.
