Show & Tell Friday...Vintage Pretty!

This is a doily that my great grand mother made...
she was a no-nonsense "Rosie the Riveter"
lady...who instilled the love for all things pink &
pretty into my sisters and me!!!!

(And her fried chicken and rhubarb cobbler were
like manna from heaven...but that's another post!)

Be sure to visit Kelli @

to see all the treasures that our blogger buddies are
"Showing & Telling" this fine Friday!!

  1. I love the doilie. My great-aunt could crochet anything. I've done a few doilies in my day, but nothing compared to this. Thanks so much for sharing.

    Blessings,

  4. how lovely! I love it in the pot like a flower bouquet! Wow! My mom did something similar more of a single flower with lacy trim around it. When I locate them (she did two) I'm planning on framing them. Yours is a treasure!
