A Pumpkin, My Pretty!!!!!!

It's time to "SHOW US YOUR PRETTY PUMPKIN"!!

OK, I have to confess, I do not even understand
the popularity that Halloween has gained these
last few years. Oh, I liked it well enough when I was
a kid with a pillowcase full of candy...but now?...I
just really cannot hang with the orange & black!
And I don't mean to be a party pooper but, the
whole ugly, witchy thing doesn't really work for
me either, so I had to go with the pink & foofy
representation of this season!!

My stuffed pumpkin from
CHERRY BLOSSOM COTTAGE

No "tricks"...just sparkling treats!!

REMEMBER to pop over to
LIFE AT ROSE COTTAGE
to visit our hostess,
MO and see all the other pretty pumpkins from the
Sept. 4th - the 7th!!

  1. Thanks for the sweet comment!
Oh my gosh I think those are the cutest pumpkins I have ever seen! I know what you mean about the whole orange & black decorating dilemna Halloween always presents. To me it's sort of like how I feel about the jewel tones & heavy gold being so overly used for XMAS decorations. I do a white, silver, pink, aqua & red XMAS - with lots of vintage jewelry decorations and such and I have noticed a lot people don't "get" it.... who cares?

  2. Thank you for stopping by. Those are very pretty Pumpkins. I have so many growing on my allotment but they are not as pretty as your ones. They will make good soup though!

  14. LOVE IT!!!! I used to go all out decorating with the traditional 'black and orange' when the girls were little... But they've now grown up, and my taste has changed as well, so in my effort to simplify, I now only have a few fall/Halloween decorations (and in my new cottage colors, of course!!)... Donna
