Red Roses for a Cottage Lady & Show & Tell Sunday!!

Even if you surround your self with every shade of
Navajo/eggshell/Swiss coffee/Mist white...a red rose
is hard to resist.

Christie Repasy even tried her hand at the rich romantic red
roses (she did an excellent job too!).
Thx Sara, for this fun week of seeing red! Great idea!

SHOW & TELL SUNDAY!!!!!

I am a bit limited here, since all my Trash to Treasure items
were turned into treasure by someone else...I didn't have to
transform them...I just had to buy them.

But, my mantel is the exception. It was cast off by my
sister's neighbor, then her contractor and then my sister!
And then it became MINE!
No, it's not the lamp...not the picture...not even the
tablecloth.....
Unfortunately, the "trash" was that little furry kitty boy...
And he is more than a treasure to me now!!!!!!!

  6. Love the kitty cat......aren't they such treasures? I don't know what I'd do without her.

This is my first time participating in the Trash to Treasure. It's fun seeing what everyone has to share.

  8. Awwww.....Love little furry kitty boy! My daughter wants to have a kitten so badly! Unfortunately, my son and husband are allergic to pet dander! We have the next best thing to an indoor cat. We adopted an outdoor cat who has been "ours" for years!

Great hand me down mantel, too!

  9. Hi M!

Your blog is quickly becoming one of my faves. I love your pics, love the Repasy pics, have questions for the sister's unmentionable hanging on the door, love the mantle and can't figure out why anyone would discard it, and always love photo updates of your little man kitty.

    Hugs!

  12. I should have thought of posting the Marmelade Gypsy as trash to treasure, as you did your dear little cat! We're in the same situation there -- and you're right -- true treasures now!
