What I did this weekend by M

Well, I actually did quite a lot... First, I "carbed" up to get myself going!

You guys always show such healthy, sensible, pretty meals...I just need a bit more "Oomph"
to get going...(butter is my best friend!)
Then, I set to work on the chair/scratching post that my "precious" cat aka satan's crafty minion, has destroyed.
I wanted to use a piece of bark cloth that I have, but I knew it would not hold up to the mayhem... I found this thick pink curtain panel at Walmart that looked pretty durable...then I doubled it over!
After I got her out of the curtain and off of the chair frame.....
I was able to cover the damage quite nicely...
It's very plain and understated, but it's a really good pink and the pillows add a little pizazz ~

And even her royal highness likes it!

  1. Just found you and this wonderful blog of yours. I loved my visit and if I may would like to come by to see you again....Have a good night...Mary

  2. Wonderful re-do for her highness. We have too many highness(es)!!!

  3. What a beautiful chair for a beautiful cat.

I'm a BIG animal lover and believe they should be able to sit on lovely furniture too.

  4. I also have a cat that right now is using the stairs as her scratching post...ugh!! However, even though the redo is more simple...I think it is even more beautiful than it was before....and the pillows are fabulous!!
